Dr. Stephen Montoya, affectionately known as “Dr. Steve” by his patients, has been practicing pediatric dentistry for over 11 years. Hailing from Gilbert, Arizona, Dr. Steve attended Portland State University before earning his dental degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2006. He went on to complete a Pediatric Dental Residency at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Rhode Island and became a board-certified pediatric dentist in 2009. He is a Fellow and active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) as well as the American Dental Association (ADA).
Dr. Steve is passionate about preventive dentistry and is committed to promoting access to care for all children. His greatest goal is to inspire children to take pride in their oral health and to help them enjoy their visits to the dentist. He frequently volunteers in the community, visiting local schools and Head Start programs to teach children proper oral hygiene habits and instill lifelong healthy routines.
Outside the office, Dr. Steve has been happily married for 26 years and is the proud father of three children. He enjoys spending time with his family, swimming, fishing, golfing, and playing sand volleyball. His dedication to family, community, and patient care makes him a trusted and compassionate provider for children and families in the area.
